OCIT (Order of Christian Initiation of Teens) is for those that are in high school or college who are looking to receive the sacraments of Baptism, Communion, First Penance and/or Confirmation or for those who want to come fully into the Catholic faith from another faith. OCIT is the program that can fully enable a person to embark on this journey. OCIT is the "OCIA" (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults" program geared towards high school students or college aged "teens" and young adults.

Through the Youth Ministry program at Our Lady Peace Parish, the OCIT classes offer men and women the opportunity to learn the information regarding spirituality and the Roman Catholic faith that is needed to prepare his or herself to receive their sacraments or to become Catholic. OCIT is open to all high school or college aged youth who plan on becoming Catholic or furthering themselves as Catholics, regardless of their previous religion or background. We meet once a month .
