Hi! My name is Stephen, I originally grew up in NJ, but currently attend college at Virginia Tech. During my breaks, I come home to volunteer at OLOPP Youth Ministry to continue serving the youth as God has called me to do!
Phyllis
Hi, my name is Phyllis, and I’m so excited to be serving as a volunteer in the youth ministry! I currently work at a daycare and part-time as a behavioral assistant. I have an associate’s degree in Education and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I’m planning to start my Master’s in Social Work this fall. I enjoy building relationships, listening, and being someone others feel comfortable around.
I decided to volunteer with youth ministry because I remember how important it is to have positive mentors and a safe space to grow in faith. I want to help create that space. I’m passionate about encouraging young people to know their worth, grow in confidence, and build a strong foundation in Christ. I’m really looking forward to getting to know everyone and walking alongside you all this year.

Hi i’m Sophia! I’m 20 years old and I currently work as an aide at a physical therapy clinic. I’m excited to volunteer with the youth ministry because I want to help bring kids and teens closer to Christ!
Nick
Hi, my name is Nick I am one of the Adult volunteers. I use to go to guidance when I was high school and after I graduated I decided to volunteer my time in teaching and help lead the youth towards their faith. I find it important that kids always have a supportive environment and mentors who are positive. I look forward to leading and teaching you.
